Saturday Sports

Saturday Sports is a two-hour program held throughout the year on the 1st Saturday of the month. This program brings together EAC volunteers and neighborhood children in a group mentoring setting. The goal for children is that they get access to green space for fun, healthy activities, positive adult role models, and exposure to the Gospel and the Church. For volunteers the goal is to provide a consistent loving presence in the neighborhood that values relationships. The schedule for each Saturday is:

9:50 – 10:15 Registration/Check-In
10:15 – 10:20 Opening Talk / Prayer
10:20 – 11:20 Sports, Activities & Crafts
11:20 – 11:25 Clean Up Campus
11:25 – 11:45 Bible Story/Character Talk
11:45 – 12:00 Pass Out Lunches
12:00 – 12:10 Clear Campus/Secure Gates
